SMS Consent & Opt-In Disclosure
Last updated: May 2, 2026
Who this covers
LolliPOP ("we", "us") is a business-to-business video communication platform operated by LolliPOP Inc. Our paying users (salespeople, loan officers, agents, consultants) record personalized video messages and send them to recipients whose phone numbers those users already have a pre-existing business relationship with.
How recipients opt in
Text messages are only sent to phone numbers that our customers have explicitly entered, one at a time, when they press Send via Text inside the LolliPOP app. The sender affirms for each send that the recipient:
- Is an existing customer, client, lead, or direct contact of the sender.
- Shared their phone number voluntarily with the sender offline (via a business card, contact form, email signature, CRM entry, or prior conversation).
- Has an expectation of receiving follow-up communication from the sender.
LolliPOP does not scrape, purchase, rent, or otherwise acquire phone numbers. No recipient is ever enrolled in an automated marketing campaign, drip sequence, or recurring message series from us.
What a LolliPOP SMS looks like
Every SMS we send is a single, transactional-style message with the following shape:
{Sender Name} sent you a video ▶ https://www.thelollipopapp.com/s/{token}
Reply STOP to opt out.The link opens a private, tokenized watch page hosted by LolliPOP where the recipient can view the sender's video, respond, and contact the sender directly. No advertising content, no third-party tracking pixels, no upsells to the recipient.
How to opt out (STOP)
Recipients can reply STOP at any time to a LolliPOP text. We honor STOP requests immediately through our SMS provider (Twilio) and suppress all future messages to that phone number across every LolliPOP sender, permanently — even if a different paying user later tries to message the same number.
Other recognized opt-out keywords: STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT.
Getting help (HELP)
Recipients can reply HELP to any LolliPOP text to receive an auto-reply with our support email (support@thelollipopapp.com) and a link to this page.
Message frequency & carrier fees
Message frequency varies and is determined entirely by how often the sender decides to follow up. LolliPOP does not initiate any message on its own. Message-and-data rates may apply depending on the recipient's mobile carrier and plan — consult the recipient's carrier for details.
Privacy
We do not sell, rent, or share phone numbers with third parties. Phone numbers entered by senders are stored only to deliver the message, record delivery status, and honor STOP/HELP requests. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.
